We offer a range of volunteer roles! No matter your experience or expertise, there's a place for
you here. 

  • Kitchen Service Volunteer
    Let your culinary talents shine as a GNSH soup kitchen volunteer! In this position, you'll prepare delicious meals, serve nourishing food and drinks, and lend a hand with post-meal cleanup tasks. Your efforts will ensure that everyone who walks through the GNSH doors leaves with a satisfied stomach and a smile.
  • Food Pantry Volunteer
    Join the GNSH food pantry and make a direct impact on combating hunger in our community. Your tasks may include preparing distribution bags for families and the homeless, restocking shelves, rebagging produce, transporting distribution bags to vehicles, and maintaining a clean and organized pantry space.
  • Inventory Volunteer
    Volunteers in this role will assist Good Neighbor in inventory operations, ensuring accurate tracking of the numerous donations and vital supplies received.
  • Closet Volunteer
    Volunteers in this role will assist in organizing and maintaining the essential supplies that directly impact the well-being of the GNSH’s clients, including blankets and clothing. Your dedication to maintaining a well-stocked and orderly inventory will make a significant difference in improving the lives of those we serve.
  • Respite Volunteer
    Bring comfort and relief to those seeking respite from life's challenges. As a respite volunteer here at the GNSH, you'll distribute essential items, provide informational packets, offer to-go food, assemble travel snack bags, maintain inventory, and ensure a clean and disinfected space for those who seek solace in our respite center.
  • Client Services Volunteer
    Immerse yourself in the vibrant world of themed events and fundraising! As a GNSH client services volunteer, you'll lend a hand in organizing and facilitating various events, as well as assembling street outreach goodie bags.

- In-person: If you prefer, come to our office and request an application. We'll be thrilled to
welcome you and provide you with all the necessary information.
